Our Vision
Zero Waste consultations with Households / Families; Schools; Hospitality; small & large businesses &/or corporations. To reduce their waste loads and save on costs involved; & to give support in creating circular economy waste streams. The overarching vision will be to impact on infrastructural government changes because of consumers reducing their waste needs and costs.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to support individuals and businesses to transition towards zero waste. We focus on the Household, Schools, Hospitality Industry, and Businesses sectors. Our intention is to support people and organizations through the process seamlessly. The umbrella Mission is to run a company that understands its customers’ needs to reduce waste. We show an eco-marketing strategy to the consumer. We also encourage a sustainable circular economy.
Our History
I was inspired by the “Plastic Free July” movement in 2018. The innovative initiatives of my colleagues at The GreenHeart Trust Inc. also inspired me. Along with the inspiration from parents at my daughter’s school, I embarked on my zero-waste journey in January 2019.
Initially, I focused on reducing waste in my personal life. I would often ask businesses if they had paper packaging or if I bring my own containers for food. This simple habit made a significant impact on my daily waste production.
But, I realized that to truly make a difference, I needed to extend my efforts beyond personal actions. In June 2019, I launched the Planet Zero Waste project at my daughter’s school. The goal was to create a more sustainable learning environment for future generations. The project involved educating students about the environmental impact of waste, implementing waste reduction strategies, and encouraging community involvement.
One of our most successful initiatives was Project Rubbish Art, where students transformed discarded materials into creative pieces. This not only addressed our waste problem but also fostered a sense of creativity and environmental awareness among the students.
As my journey progressed, I became increasingly interested in exploring zero-waste practices in other areas of my life. I delved into zero-waste home cleaning, experimenting with natural cleaning solutions and reducing my reliance on disposable products. Additionally, I began researching ways to promote sustainability in the takeaway food industry. I explored potential solutions to the problem of single-use packaging.
Julianna Gillespie
Passionate about fostering sustainable communities, I’ve dedicated my life to environmental action since 2019. In 2022, I realised my lifelong dream of starting a Zero Waste Consultancy, focusing on waste reduction and resource efficiency.
Growing up with a deep love for nature and animals, I initially envisioned a career in animal welfare. But, my passion has evolved to encompass the well-being of all sentient beings and the planet. Over the past four years, I’ve immersed myself in the Zero Waste movement. I discovered a world of possibilities for creating a more sustainable future.
Paskal Glavinov
I am a serial entrepreneur. I have a deep-rooted commitment to social and environmental impact. I’ve founded Tr1f3cta, Planet Zero Waste, and The GreenHeart Trust. My goal is to create a holistic approach to positive change. The GreenHeart Trust, our core mission, focuses on fostering self-efficacy and well-being. To effectively support this mission, we’ve established Planet Zero Waste to tackle environmental challenges. We have also established Tr1f3cta to leverage technology for scalable solutions.
By combining skill in mentoring, project management, and system design, I’ve built high-performing teams and developed innovative strategies. I have experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. This has equipped me with a unique ability. I can bridge the gap between social impact and business success.
